Mokokchung, December 3 (MTNews): Mokokchung College of Teacher Education (MCTE) celebrated its Annual Award Ceremony cum Advent Christmas on December 3 under the theme “The Perfect Gift” with Moa Jamir, Youth Pastor, Yimyu Baptist Church, Mokokchung, as the speaker at MCTE Campus.
The speaker stated that, “As God created us in His own image, God’s love is written in John 3:16 of the Bible.” He said that the Bible has three criteria for the perfect gift: the gift should reflect the one who gives, knowledge of the one who receives it, and should have sustained value over time. He added that God has gifted the greatest gift with his deepest love, and hence, encouraged the gathering to celebrate Christmas by “understanding this Perfect Gift with God in our midst, as we yearn for the birth of Jesus Christ.”
