The district has selected 20 athletes, comprising 15 boys and 5 girls, to represent Mokokchung at the 2nd Nagaland Junior Athletics Championship 2025, scheduled for September 10 at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima. The team will depart on September 9.

Extending his best wishes, he remarked, “All the best to all of you as a team, as a family. Whether you win or lose, even if you are not able to bring back medals, it is okay. What matters is that you give your best and perform well.”
