The District Welfare Officer of Mokokchung has announced an important update regarding the disbursement of Old Age, Widow, and Disability pensions. It was informed that beneficiaries who have not received payments through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) for the period of 2022-23 will be disbursed from 15 May 2024 at the District Welfare Office in Mokokchung during office hours.
Those beneficiaries who have not submitted bank account details have been informed to produce a photocopy of their bank account passbook. It emphasized that no payment will be made to those beneficiaries without bank account.
For beneficiaries unable to visit personally, authorized individuals are permitted to collect payments on their behalf. However, they must present Life Certificates of the beneficiaries from their respective Church Pastors, along with the pension Payment Book.

It was further informed that for those beneficiaries with active bank accounts, the pension benefits have been transferred to their bank accounts on the following dates: IDBI Bank (29 April 2024); Indian Bank (29 April); CBI Mokokchung (30 April); Canara Bank (2 May); NStCB Ltd (3 May); Bank of Baroda, Ungma (4 May); CBI Kubolong (6 May), and SBI (7 May).
