Mokokchung, 26 July (MTNews): The State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Diethono Nakhro, will deliver a talk on the topic “Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016” at an awareness program in Mokokchung.
The Mokokchung District Administration, in collaboration with the Mokokchung District Disabled Forum (MDDF), will be organizing the awareness program dedicated to persons with disabilities. This event is supported by the Office of the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Kohima, Nagaland, and will be held at the DC Conference Hall in Mokokchung. The program is scheduled to take place on 28 July, commencing at 11:00 a.m.
Additionally, the event will feature a talk by Arenlila Jamir, Project Associate from Caritas India, who will discuss the “Status of Person with Disabilities, Formation, and Functions of DPO’s.”
