Mokokchung, October 8 (MTNews): The Mokokchung District Bar Association (MDBA) is set to celebrate its Golden Jubilee on 15 November 2022 under the theme ‘Reaching Out’. In order to make its yearlong Golden Jubilee proclamation, the Bar Association informed in a press release that it has decided to undertake a welfare program by reaching out to the needy people.
As such, the Bar Association on October 4, 2022 held an interaction with the specially abled persons of Langpangkong Block at Mongsenyimti Village, on ‘Rights of the Disabled Persons’. Further, on October 5, the Association held similar interactions for Ongpangkong Block at Chuchuyimpang Village, and at Longjang Village for Asetkong Block. They also presented 71 shawls to the needy as jubilee gifts.
The Bar Association also visited the District Jail on October 6 and held interaction with the inmates on ‘Rights of the Prisoners’ and presented shawls to all the 69 inmates there. This was then followed by a visit to the Children Home at Tzumashiyong, Mokokchung “where a program was held with delightful gifts.”
The MDBA conveyed gratitude to the Co-coordinators of the three blocks of CARITAS INDIA CBR, Mokokchung, Nagaland, the Mokokchung District Jail authorities and the Father and Mother of the Children Home for their cooperation and assistance in making their noble cause a grand success.
