Mokokchung, August 16 (MTNews): The Mokokchung district football team has left for the Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2022 which is scheduled to be held at the IG Stadium Kohima with the inaugural set for August 17. Er. Zale Neikha, Advisor for Youth Resources & Sports will grace the inaugural function as special guest while Abu Metha, Secretary General of Nagaland Olympic Association will unfurl the NOA flag.
The inaugural match will be played between Dimapur and Wokha. Mokokchung will play their first match on August 18 against Noklak at 11:10 AM while their second and third matches will be played against Kiphire and Tseminyu on August 20 and August 22 respectively.
