Mokokchung District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) conducted an awareness session on the Motor Vehicle Act with the All Nagaland Taxi Association, Mokokchung unit, at the District Court in Mokokchung today. More than 70 drivers, along with their union office representatives, attended the program. The keynote address was given by Watitemjen, a retainer lawyer from Mokokchung DLSA. The topics covered included the Motor Vehicle Amendment Act, 2019, and Motor Accident Claims, as well as insurance policies. The resource persons for the day were Tajungla and Temjenkokla, both panel lawyers from Mokokchung DLSA. The program concluded with a discussion and a vote of thanks given by Mapujungla Pongen, panel lawyer.
