Mokokchung, 11 August (MTNews): The monthly meeting of the Mokokchung District Planning and Development Board for the month of August 2023 was held today in the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Mokokchung. The meeting was chaired by Thsuvisie Phoji, the Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman of DPDB, Mokokchung.
During the meeting, the house approved and forwarded the LADP Schemes for the year 2023-24. The registration of the Rhododendron Society, Ungma, and the grant-in-aid for Green Hill School, Yisemyong, were recommended and forwarded to the concerned departments for further necessary action.
Furthermore, discussions were held in the meeting regarding the revamping of the District Award Committee. As a result, a nine-member committee was constituted, with ADC Mokokchung serving as the convenor, to work on the criteria and modalities for the revamp.
