Mokokchung, 2 June (MTNews): The Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung through a notification has informed that the World Environment Day 2023 will be celebrated on 5 June 2023 at Longkotsung, Mokokchung Village at 8:00 AM. The celebration is organized by Mokokchung District Planning & Development Board on the theme “Rejuvenation of Springs & Water Bodies.”
Tongpang Ozukum, Advisor, Water Resources, Nagaland, will be the Special Guest. The Deputy Commissioner has informed all members of the Mokokchung District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) to attend the same without fail.
Further, the Village Council Chairman of Mopungchuket, Sungratsu, Mokokchung, and Chuchuyimpang villages as well as the Chairman of all the 18 Wards of Mokokchung Town have also been informed to attend the event.
