Mokokchung, 15 May (MTNews): Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji, has informed all concerned that, on account of ‘National Dengue Day’ on 16 May 2024, every household in Mokokchung district is directed to observe a ‘Dry Day’ every week.
During this day, a cleanliness drive must be conducted to eliminate mosquito breeding sites by clearing unwanted stored water in flower pots, water cans, discarded containers, tires, gutters, stagnant areas, etc. This measure aims to prevent and control dengue.
