Game week 5 of the Mokokchung Friday League for 35+ players featured a flurry of goals at the Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung.
Revenant FC defeated Terokroker FC 2-0 in the first match of the day, with a goal from Moatemsu’s fantastic pass in the 48th minute; Chubangangnen took advantage of the chance to outclass Terokroker FC’s goalkeeper. With an advanced assist from colleague Temsuwati, Imcharen sealed the deal for the Revenant side in the 59th minute.
The second match saw Senso Sporting Club’s Arenlong Jamir scoring the game’s only goal to help his club defeat Aturar FC 1-0. The ball was successfully moved past the opponent’s midfield and defense by Jamir in the 20th minute of the contest, finishing the job by scoring via a lovely volley.
In the third and last match of the day, Royal Enfield Mokokchung trounced New Ecclesia FC 3-1. Goals were scored by Sashiwapang, Imkongwati, and Lanuchuba Walling for Royal Enfield, with Pangertemsu scoring a consolation goal for the New Ecclesia side in injury time.
