Mokokchung, November 11 (MTNews): Game Week 6 of the Mokokchung Friday League for 35+ Players witnessed Senso Sporting Club, Aturar FC and Revenant FC register wins at the Assam Rifle Ground on Friday.
Acha scored the game’s opening goal for New Ecclesia in the seventh minute of the first match of the day between Senso SC and New Ecclesia. However, a penalty in the 22nd minute for Senso SC ensured an equalizer through Repamangyang.

 

Tsupongtemsu of Senso SC went on to score a solo goal past the New Ecclesia goalie in the 44th minute of the match, finishing the game 2-1.

 

Aturar FC defeated Terokroker FC 5-2 in the second game of the day as the former managed to score five goals past the goaltender. Waikaba of Aturar broke the ice in the ninth minute, but Zululemba of Terokroker capitalized on it in the twenty-second. Sakutemjen from Aturar gave the squad a lead in the 25th minute, while Moatemsu added another goal in the 36th. Terokroker’s Subongsang in an attempt to close the gap scored at the 42nd minute but was in vain as Motemsu completed his hat trick by scoring in the 46th and 65th minute of the game.

 

In the third and final game of the day, Revenant FC defeated Wasang FC with a score of 5-1 to go to the top of the league standings. Veteran Revenant player R. Achi went on to register a hat trick, tallying four goals in the 5th, 7th, 57th, and 59th minutes of the game, while Moakaba added another goal in the 49th. Tiakumzuk scored a consolation goal for Wasang in the game’s 50th minute, but it was in vain as the team lost the game and idled in fifth place in the league standings.
