Mokokchung, 11 March (MTNews): In anticipation to the Lok Sabha election 2024, a district-level meeting with all the political parties was held on 11 March 2024 at the DC Conference Room, Mokokchung.
Thsuvisie Phoji, Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Mokokchung presided over the meeting. He briefed all members present about the importance of preparing for the upcoming election and requested for enhanced coordination and cooperation between all political parties.
He also stated that the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) will become operational once the election date is announced and hence requested all the political parties to strictly abide by the guidelines for ensuring free and fair election.
