The Orientation and Training Program of the District Line Department on the People’s Plan Campaign for the preparation of the Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) 2025–2026 was held today, 5 November, at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall in Mokokchung.
Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji, mentioned in his welcome address that the GPDP is all about convergence and inclusivity. Therefore, all concerned departments were asked to ensure that the policies of the Central and State Governments are well implemented and people-friendly, that no village is left out, and that all sections of the population benefit.
During the program, a PowerPoint presentation on the PPC–GPDP and VPRP was given by the District Programme Manager, DRDA, and the State Project Coordinator, respectively, which was followed by a group discussion. The program was chaired by the Project Director, DRDA, Mokokchung.
