In a commendable act of honesty and integrity, police personnel Purtoshi from Mokokchung DEF returned a sum of Rs 10,000 that he found at an SBI ATM booth.
Upon discovering the money, UBC Purtoshi immediately handed it over to the Branch Manager of the bank, who identified the rightful owner and returned the amount to her. The account holder and the bank expressed their profound gratitude and faith in the police force for such a display of upright honesty. This was said in an update by Mokokchung Police.
The Chief Manager of SBI Mokokchung Branch also wrote a letter of appreciation to the SP of Mokokchung Police while acknowledging Purtoshi’s act.
