Mokokchung, 16 December (MTNews): The Yajang C Village unit of the JD(U), situated within the Alongtaki Assembly Constituency, has announced its unanimous decision to resign from the JD(U) and join the Congress Party. The crucial decision was made during a general meeting held on December 11, 2023, attended by 123 households and approximately 650 voters.
The move was orchestrated under the leadership of the Unit President Temjentoshi Jamir, General Secretary Kimasungba Ozukum, and Treasurer Imtionen Aier wherein they unanimously resolved to resign from the JD(U) and join the Congress Party en masse under the dynamic leadership of the PCC President S Supongmeren Jamir.
