As part of the Earth Day celebrations under the theme “Our Power, Our Planet,” Jubilee Memorial College organized a successful plantation drive on campus, reaffirming its commitment to environmental sustainability.
The event was commemorated with the planting of saplings to emphasize the importance of nurturing nature and taking collective responsibility for a greener future. Faculty members, students, and staff enthusiastically participated in planting a variety of trees and ornamental plants across the college premises.
Over 70 saplings, including native and fruit-bearing trees, were planted during the drive. The initiative aimed not only to beautify the campus but also to promote biodiversity and eco-awareness among students.
The plantation drive was organized by the college’s Environmental Science Department in collaboration with the IQAC and was met with great enthusiasm from all departments. Students expressed pride in contributing to a greener campus and pledged to care for the newly planted saplings.
The event served as a reminder that every small effort counts in the fight against environmental degradation. Jubilee Memorial College continues to lead by example in creating a sustainable and eco-friendly educational environment.
