Jubilee Memorial College (JMC), Mokokchung, commemorated its 11th Foundation Day on June 15 at the college campus with faculty members, students, alumni and well-wishers in attendance.
The programme was hosted by Otienla I. Kichu, a BA fifth semester student, and began with the College Song. Yimnayangner Aier, Counsellor of JMC, led the gathering in prayer and devotion and delivered the message during the invocation.
A special musical presentation was performed by Sentijungla Imchen of BA first semester.
Speaking on the occasion, Mulato Keny, Coordinator of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), and alumnus Medemren Longchar extended Foundation Day greetings. They reflected on the institution’s journey over the past eleven years and encouraged the college community to continue striving for academic excellence and holistic development.
One of the highlights of the programme was the release of Sapentia 2026, the college magazine featuring literary, academic and creative contributions from students and faculty members.
Rev. Dr. Ponen Longchar, Senior Pastor of MTBA, led a dedicatory prayer for the college, seeking God’s guidance, wisdom and blessings upon the institution and its future endeavours.
The programme concluded with the college community celebrating eleven years of service in the field of higher education. Organizers said the occasion marked another significant milestone in the institution’s journey and reaffirmed its commitment to providing quality education while contributing to society.
