Ladybird School, Mokokchung, Nagaland, commenced its Annual Inter-House Sports Competition from March 26 to 28, 2025. The event is being held at Grace Garden, Alempang Baptist Church, and the Futsal Turf at Alempang Ward. Filled with enthusiasm and excitement, the school is celebrating under the theme, ”Together We Strive, Together We Thrive.”
The event began with a flag-hoisting ceremony and an oath-taking by the scouts and house captains, followed by a prayer invoking God’s blessings and an exhortation from the academic in-charge of LBS. Mr. Ayongti of Standard VII enthralled the crowd with a special performance.
The first day of the competition saw intense rivalry among the four houses, with participants giving their best and receiving enthusiastic support from their housemates. The three-day sporting event includes matches across various categories—Sub-Junior, Junior, Sub-Senior, and Senior. The competitions range from fun games like musical chairs and balloon bursting to more competitive events such as futsal.
