The Mokokchung District Football Association (MDFA) has announced that it will make special arrangements for the live screening of the final match of the Nagaland Super League between Longterok FC and Barak FC. The game will be screened live from 7:00 PM onwards at Imlong Place, Mokokchung Town on Tuesday, April 1.

This follows a successful live screening of the playoff-3 between Longterok FC and Nagaland United SC on March 29 at the same venue initiated by the MDFA, attracting a good number of football enthusiasts and Longterok FC fans.

“This initiative seeks to provide an opportunity for football enthusiasts of the Town and surrounding areas to enjoy the game together thereby promoting the League as well as developing community engagement,” the MDFA said in a statement, expressing its hope that presenting the State’s top-tier football action will motivate young footballers and fans in Mokokchung.

The MDFA also extended gratitude to Metsubo Jamir, Minister for Rural Development and SIRD, Nagaland, whose generous contribution has made this arrangement possible. “His continued support for sports and youth development in the district is highly appreciated,” MDFA said.

“We invite all football lovers to join us at Imlong Place and be part of this electrifying football evening. Let us celebrate the passion for the game together!” MDFA stated.
