Mokokchung: MMC revises pork, beef prices

The Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) on 30 March 2024 revised the prices for pork and beef/buffalo in Mokokchung. The revised prices are as follows:

Pork

• Cut Meat Rs 330
• Wholesale/Live Weight Rs 280
• Head/leg: Rs 310
• Stomach/Intestine Rs 260

Beef/Buffalo

• Cut Meat Rs 280
• Intestine/ Stomach Rs 230
• Head & Leg Rs 110

MMC directed all the dealers/retailers to strictly adhere to the above rates. Any defaulter found selling above the prescribed rates within the jurisdiction of MMC shall be punished under the relevant provisions of law, MMC instructed.

Further, for any complaint related to violation of rate, Senior Inspector of MMC and Enforcement Inspector of MMC can be contacted at 9362874247 and 9366042369 respectively, it was informed.
