He made these remarks while discussing the basic procedures of the house during the felicitation program for PDA councilors of the Mokokchung Municipal Council, Tuli Town Council, Changtongya Town Council, and Mangkolemba Town Council, held at Town Hall, Mokokchung on 6 July 2024.

He urged the councilors to set the right foundation for future generations.
“Mokokchung people are still buying water to drink! This is a town!” the BJP Vice President exclaimed, urging the councilors to work hard to ensure Mokokchung catches up with the rest of the districts.
