The Additional Superintendent of Mokokchung Police informed today the arrest of two individuals involved in motorcycle theft. On July 9, 2024, the Mokokchung Police apprehended C Khamba (23) and Pangjei Konyak (22), both residents of Ukha in Tobu District, Mon.
The police recovered two stolen motorcycles from the suspects: a Yamaha MT 15 (black and white) with registration number NL 07M 2380 and a Royal Enfield (black) with registration number AS OIPE 1351. The stolen vehicles were seized from the accused’s possession.
A criminal case has been registered against Khamba and Konyak at Police Station II Mokokchung under Case No. 0013/2024, with charges including Sections 303(2)3(5) BNS. The case is currently under investigation.
