Mokokchung, October 7 (MTNews): The Power Department has informed all consumers and general public under Mokokchung Transmission Division that continuous shutdown of 220kV D/C Mariani-Mokokchung Transmission Line is scheduled from 10th – 28th October 2022 for swapping of lines and bay exchange for 220kV New Kohima Mokokchung Line under NERPSIP.
In this regard, the Executive Engineer of the Transmission Division, Mokokchung, Er. Hekaito Assumi has informed that during the shutdown period, power supply to Mokokchung Load centre will be fed from Doyang Hydro Project via 132kV Mokokchung-Doyang Transmission Line and from Likimro Hydro Project via 66kV Kiphire-Tuensang-Mokokchung Transmission Line.
Further, the department has appealed to all public to extend cooperation and bear with the inconvenience that may arise during the shutdown period.
