A two-day training program for Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs) under the National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) was conducted from March 26 to 27, 2025, at the Conference Hall, Office of the Chief Medical Officer.


The training aimed at reorienting ASHAs on key healthcare topics, including maternal and child health, oral health, the U-WIN mobilizer module, Anemia Mukt Bharat, the role of ASHAs in Routine Immunization (RI) micro-planning, conducting Urban Health and Nutrition Days (UHNDs), and maintaining ASHA registers and records.

The resource persons for the training included Dr Mero (WHO-RRT), Sentirenla (Consultant, NUHM), Watisenla Jamir (DCM), Achila Chang (VCCM), Tsuknungsangla Jamir (BPM), and Nukshiwati (Consultant, NTCP). The training was attended by urban ASHAs from Mokokchung District.
