The Mokokchung district administration has announced that road repair work is currently being undertaken along the stretch from Rotary Junction to IOC in Mokokchung town.
In a public notification issued by Deputy Commissioner Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS, the public was informed that “there may be inconvenience to vehicular movement and pedestrians” during the course of the work.
The district administration has appealed to all commuters to bear with the temporary disruption and cooperate with the authorities and workers involved.
Emphasizing the long-term benefit of the project, the Deputy Commissioner stated that “this initiative is aimed at improving road conditions for the benefit of all.” The administration expressed appreciation for the public’s support, adding, “Your patience and support are highly appreciated.”
