The Rotary Club of Mokokchung and the Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) jointly visited the District Jail Mokokchung in observance of India’s Republic Day celebration. During the visit, led by Rotary President Rongsentoshi Jamir and MCCI President Tsukti Longkumer, the organizations provided the inmates with food and essential items.
During the visit, Longkumer encouraged the inmates to embrace change and urged them not to repeat their past mistakes upon release but instead to strive to be good citizens of society.
