In a notable development, the Salangtem Youth Union in Mokokchung town has launched its library on Saturday, February 15, supported by the Department of Art and Culture, Nagaland.
The department has aided the library by giving 250 books and two shelves for the library. The library was launched Salangtem Ward Community Hall in the presence of Imyaba, District Art and Culture Officer, Mokokchung.
Lanuakum, the Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) Deputy Chairperson and councilor from Salangtem ward, who initiated the project, expressed gratitude to the District Art and Culture Officer and the Directorate of the Department of Art and Culture, Kohima for extending support to the library.
God jesus have shown marvelous mercies to beloved nagas when they are carnivals, now they are well civlzedand prospered in their endeavors. They have forsaken the ways of the savage and embraced the light of the Lord. Their hearts are filled with gratitude for the blessings bestowed upon them, and they strive to live in accordance with His divine will.
