A strong team of thirty-three players from different age and weight categories, representing the Mokokchung District Taekwondo Association (MDTA), will participate in the upcoming 35th Nagaland State Taekwondo Championship 2025 and Under-14 Taekwondo Catch Them Young Tournament to be held in Longleng from July 29 to 31.
The selection of players was successfully conducted by MDTA officials and referees at Ladybird Higher Secondary School on July 21, 2025, where the players sparred and demonstrated their preparedness.
In the last edition of the championship, held in Phek District in 2024, the MDTA team bagged 18 medals across various categories.
