‘Naga Kiddos’
‘Naga Kiddos’ – a group of young friends known for their satirical comedy acts created their YouTube channel on January 12, 2020, and ever since, the boys have had an incredible run with their fans and viewership. Today, they have more than 4 Million views on their channel.
Getting inspiration from a program they attended in their native village, Chungliyimsen, the channel creators – Alang, Imlitongzük and Sentiwapang, decided to open a YouTube channel and uploaded their first video which garnered about 1k views, but that was enough for the boys to be inspired to continue making what they like doing.
Right now, the group consists of six members: Alang, Imlitongzük, Sentiwapang, Imtitong, Imtisan and Abimong.
Here is an exclusive dive with the group on Mokokchung Times’ Sunday Exclusive:
Mokokchung Times (MT): Hello, Naga Kiddos, 60.8K subscribers already! Congratulations. Would you like to share how you feel?
Naga Kiddos (NK): First of all, yes! thank you so much for reaching out to us.
We still remember the first time around, when we had only around 100 subscribers, but now it feels really amazing and blessed to have achieved more than 60k subscribers. We thank God for leading us through all the ups and downs and a huge ‘Thank You’ to all those who have subscribed to our channel and supported us.
MT: We all know you by the name ‘Naga Kiddos’ but would you guide us through the real personality behind ‘Naga Kiddos’?
NK: We are just a group of fun-loving and energetic people who are always up for a competition and very optimistic in what we do. We are always curious to learn about new things and that is what helped us grow.
MT: Is there anyone among you who is the brain behind your content making?
NK: For content creation, we all participate and discuss what would be best for the videos, as well as our viewers. So, it’s not only one of us that contribute the ideas but we all take a part in it collectively.
MT: Are there days where you feel like you’re running out of ideas?
NK: We do encounter days when we run out of ideas and sit blankly but we always try to get some ideas even from the smallest thing that we see or hear.
MT: What makes you think people enjoy your contents a lot?
NK: We usually make contents based on the community, the current news and problems that the society faces and also about the daily life that one goes through. We think that this is why we can connect with the people more and ultimately they enjoy watching our videos.
MT: How do you guys see yourself in the next ten years?
NK: In the next ten years, we see ourselves as one of the top YouTubers from Nagaland. By the coming ten years, our focus would have been shifted more towards movie making because we’d like to employ more people in the future as unemployment is a really big issue now.
