Mokokchung, September 30 (MTNews): Along with the rest of the country, the Mokokchung District Voluntary Blood Donors Association (MDVBDA) will be celebrating the National Voluntary Blood Donation Day at Blood Center IMDH on the 1st of October 2022. The day will be marked by a voluntary blood donation drive.
The day is being celebrated under the slogan of the World Blood Donor Day 2022 “Donating blood is an act of solidarity. Join the effort and save lives.” This is to draw attention to the roles that voluntary blood donations play in saving lives and enhancing solidarity within communities, an update from the MDVBDA informed. The blood donation drive will start from 10:00 AM and will continue till 1:00 PM. “The denizens of Mokokchung are cordially invited to the donation camp and be a lifesaver,” the MDVBDA said.
