Mokokchung, 30 July (MTNews): Demonstrating commendable civic responsibility, the Mokokchung District Two Wheeler Association (MDTWTA) took the initiative to support the local traffic police department by participating in a voluntary service drive on 30 July. The association’s members collaborated with the traffic police to install essential signage across the town, aiming to improve road safety and alleviate traffic congestion.
Mangyang, the Vice President of the MDTWTA, explained their decision, saying, “As part of the public service, we must contribute to the betterment of our community. We acknowledged that the traffic police’s initiative to put up signboards is in the best interest of everyone’s safety. Thus, because it was our off day, we decided to help in installing these signboards.”
