The newly elected councilor from Mongsenbai Ward in Mokokchung town, Imlisanen Jamir, donated a borewell water filtration system for Ngati Block under the Mongsenbai Ward.
The water purifier system was dedicated on July 15, 2024, by Sentiyanger, pastor of Ngati Baptist Church, in the presence of the ward authority led by its chairman, Marnungsang.
The borewell had been earlier donated by Nagaland minister Metsubo Jamir. During his MMC election campaign, the newly elected councilor had promised to donate the water purifier regardless of the election outcome.
