The Spearhead Motorsport Initiative (SMI), Mokokchung successfully hosted the 7th edition of Throttle Thrust, Nagaland’s premier motorsport event, at Longmisa Village, Mokokchung, on November 4 and 5, 2025. The two-day event witnessed roaring engines, thrilling performances, and exceptional sportsmanship from drivers representing various teams across the North East region.
On day two of the event, the Stage II runs were held after which the prize distribution ceremony was held where Atoka Awomi, President, P. Vizheto Motorsport club was the special guest. In his speech he congratulated Team Spearhead for giving their best and organzing a spectacular event and added that in North east India we do not get any sponsors unlike other states in India so a commitment should be made by all the motorsport clubs to stand united and fight for the NE Mortorsport community and sponsor drivers from NE to compete with the rest of the drivers in the country.
Sentiyanger Longkumer, Convenor, TTVII, expressed gratitude to all participants, sponsors, Longmisa Village Council, Longmisa Students’ Union, Special guests, volunteers, and local supporters for their cooperation and enthusiasm in making the event a grand success.
The competition was held in three categories: Open Category, Below 1300cc Category, and SUV Category with top racers showcasing their exceptional skills and speed over two intense days.

The fastest driver for Stage I wasThzeieu Kire (KAMC) while the fastest driver for Stage II was Ruokuobeituo (NAC). The event brought together motorsport enthusiasts from Nagaland, Meghalaya, and neighboring regions, further strengthening the motorsport culture in the Northeast.
Another significant highlight of TTVII was the introduction of Rally Roadbook.The Roadbook, designed for both race stages, served as a detailed navigation guide allowing drivers to record and interpret route information through pace notes. Participants were also given the option to engage a navigator.
Throttle Thrust VII reaffirmed the growing popularity of motorsport in Nagaland, showcasing not just competition, but also camaraderie, technical excellence, and community involvement.
