Nagaland’s Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), S Supongmeren Jamir, today attended the Telecom Advisory Committee (TAC) meeting of BSNL, Nagaland Business Area (BA), at the BSNL state branch office in Dimapur.
The first meeting of the recently constituted committee for the 2024–2026 term also saw the attendance of Masharib Gul Mufti, ITS, General Manager, Nagaland BA, BSNL; Y. Zarenthung Kikon, DGM, Nagaland BA, BSNL; and other TAC members and senior BSNL officials.
During the meeting, the MP exhorted the committee members to complement the efforts of the staff and employees of the public undertaking with their learned interventions in order to achieve the shared objective of providing reliable, robust, and affordable telecom connectivity to the people of Nagaland.
Mufti, GM of the Nagaland Business Area (BA) of BSNL, also addressed the meeting, highlighting the achievements of the organization in the state in recent years despite the many challenges they had to face and outlined the plan of action going forward.
Apart from these, a host of related issues were discussed, and several resolutions were adopted to address them during the extensive deliberations that followed.
