MTBA mobilizes aid for Solo village fire victims

Mokokchung, February 6 (MTNews): Following the unfortunate fire incident that took place in Solo/Chiu village, Lahe Township, Naga Self Administered Zone in Myanmar on Friday, February 3, the Mokokchung Town Baptist Church (MTBA) has launched a well-wisher donation campaign where one can donate clothes of any age and gender, mattresses, pillows, blankets, medicine, and so on, beginning Monday and running until Tuesday, February 7.

 

According to the Church, a total of 73 houses have been burned down, leaving 600-700 people homeless. As a result, well-wishers have been asked to donate clothing, mattresses, blankets, pillows, medicine, portable solar lights, and money to the victims.

 

The church has also requested that the donors submit it to the MTBA office or, preferably, to their respective fellowships with the assistance of the fellowship pastor, deacon, and other church board members.
