After going virtual for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mokokchung Town Baptist Church Youth Department is gearing up to celebrate the XXXI MUSICFEST 2022 based on the theme “Taochi” from Thursday evening. This edition will feature some of the best talents from Mokokchung Town Baptist Church and also performances from churches of other tribes in Mokokchung.
The two-day mega event will feature for the first time Battle of Worship Bands, where Worship Team from nine fellowships under Mokokchung Town Baptist Church Youth Department will vie for the ultimate winner’s title. The Organizing Committee said that the objective behind the competition is to reignite their passion to lead praise and worship and also as an encouragement to continue with the worship activities in their respective fellowships.
Music Fest, which is one of the most anticipated and the longest running events in town has been providing platforms to the youths of the Church to discover their God given talents. It also acts as a ministry to reach out to the youths with the message of God’s unconditional love which apparently is the theme for this year’s edition.
While the planning has been going on for the past two months, the whole town anticipates witnessing some exhilarating and excellent execution of talents. In in their parting note, the Organizing Committee has extended their warm invitation to all the citizens of the town to come and be a part of this mega event and also informed that the show will go live on YouTube channel MTBA Mokokchung.
