The Youth Ministry of Mokokchung Town Baptist Arogo (MTBA) held its 44th Annual Meet on October 18 and 19, 2025, under the theme ‘I will proclaim your righteous deeds’ (Psalms 71:16).
Highlights of the meet included drama competitions, hymnal singing, and Bible-themed cosplay. A notable feature of this year’s meet was the silver jubilee celebration of the prestigious Pangikala Music Award.
In the drama competitions, Aongza Youth Fellowship won first place in Group 1 with the play “Missionary Nokseng” based on a Christian martyr. Kichutip Youth Fellowship secured the top position in Group 2 for their contextual play “Story of Deborah,” while A&B Youth Fellowship won Group 3 for their play on “Rev Longri” (Ao pioneer).
The Best Script awards went to Medical Fellowship for “Nokseng’s Story,” Kichutip for “Story of Deborah,” and Salangtem for “Longri.”
The hymnal competition saw Medical Fellowship winning in Group 1, Kichutip Youth Fellowship in Group 2, and Arkong Youth Fellowship in Group 3. The Bible-themed costume contest recognized Salangtem for the characters Bithiah and Seraphim, and Arkong for Noah as the top three winners.
