MY Bharat Mokokchung has called on young people across the district to participate in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027, offering participants an opportunity to progress from the district level to state presentations and potentially represent Nagaland at the National Youth Festival in New Delhi on January 12, 2027.
During a consultative coordination meeting chaired by MY Bharat, officials said the Stage-I online quiz is the mandatory entry point for the multi-stage selection process. Youth who perform well will progress through essay writing, district and state-level presentations before domain experts.
The top state-level qualifiers will be selected as national delegates and given an opportunity to present policy ideas for “Viksit Bharat @2047” at the national event.
The Stage-I quiz consists of 20 multiple-choice questions to be completed within 600 seconds and focuses on India’s development, growth and national vision. Youth aged 15 to 29 can register through the official MY Bharat portal and its mobile application.
MY Bharat Mokokchung officials also highlighted digital services available through the platform, including an automatic CV builder, domain-specific mentorship, access to the PM Internship Scheme and 60-hour Experiential Learning Programmes with government organisations and departments.
The district team proposed establishing helpdesks in educational institutions, including Fazl Ali College, Jubilee Memorial College and higher secondary schools, to assist students with registration and profile creation.
MY Bharat Mokokchung has urged educational institutions, higher secondary schools and youth clubs to conduct classroom campaigns and awareness drives to maximise participation from the district and increase its representation at the state and national stages.
