Mokokchung, April 3 (MTNews): A three-member National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Peer Team will be visiting Fazl Ali College for the third cycle of assessment. NAAC Assessment takes place every 5 years but because of the pandemic, the 3rd cycle of Assessment will be conducted on 5th and 6th April 2022. Fazl Ali College, under the Principal, Dr Temjenwabang, is striving towards an improved grade during the 3rd cycle.
The Peer Team includes Dr. Neel Mani Prasad Verma, former vice chancellor, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Central University, as chairperson; Dr. Nesy Daniel, former Dean, University of Kerala; and Dr. Maharudra Kekare, former principal, Parkar College Maharashtra as members.
For assessment and accreditation from National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Fazl Ali College established the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) on 03-11-2006 with Dr Imtiwati Jamir as the Coordinator.
The College underwent the first cycle of Assessment and was graded B with 2.29 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) in the year 2009. In the second cycle of assessment, FAC was graded 2.50 CGPA in the year 2015
