Dimapur, 15 April (MTNews): The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Peer Team visited C-Edge College Team to visit the college for its 2nd Cycle of Accreditation on 12 and 13 April.

 

 

A comprehensive overview was presented on the College history, Vision and Mission, the academic and infrastructural facilities, and the future plans for development. This was followed by a series of verification and interactions with various stakeholders. Meetings were held with all HoDs and departmental members, College staff, IQAC Coordinator, members of the BoG, representatives from Nagaland University and Department of Higher Education (Nagaland), students, parents and Alumni.

 

The proceedings of Day-1 culminated with a colorful cultural program performed by the students of the college that was much appreciated by the Peer Team members. The 2nd day continued with document verification and inspection of various clubs and activities such as NSS, NCC, Waste Management system, Canaan Hands, Water harvesting unit etc.

 

The entire process concluded with the Exit Meeting in the evening where all members were assembled including the representatives of the student body.

 

Principal, Dr Chubatola Aier expressed happiness with the process by calling it a great learning experience and called on all to work ceaselessly in the forefront as warriors for academic excellence, and to instill the cutting-edge mindset for progressive gains.

 

The NAAC Peer Team comprised of Prof. JP Sharma, former Vice Chancellor of Mohan Sukhadia University, Rajasthan as Chairman; Prof. V Manickavasagam, former Registrar and Dean (Management) of Alagappa University, Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu as Member Coordinator; and Prof. GL Reddy, Professor of Adult Education and Hrd, Dravidian University, Kuppam Andhra Pradesh as Member.
