The General Headquarters, Naga Army, Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim has issued a “solemn appeal for prayer support” on 25 June 2024, urging all Naga Christian churches, prayer warriors, and believers to pray fervently for the Naga freedom fighters currently facing relentless attacks in southeast Nagalim by Indian Security Forces and KNA-B joint forces.
Despite being outnumbered and facing heavy bombardment since 7 May 2024, the Naga forces have valiantly defended their positions with minimal casualties and have even captured enemy drones and sophisticated weaponry, it was informed.
It said that the Naga Army’s struggle is rooted in defending their rightful national cause and ancestral domain, not against democratic movements in Myanmar or any ethnic group.
“Throughout history, we have stood firm for our noble cause and will remain committed to safeguarding our national interests at all costs,” it added.
It called for prayers to protect the brave soldiers and uphold their steadfast spirit amidst adversity, invoking divine intervention for victory, as promised in Exodus 14:14.
