Currently available on Google Play Store, MonAram is an app that promises affordable and accessible healthcare, founded by Kenei Kuotsu, who is also the founder of SpeakGuru Foundation.

f the first Hackathon which was organized by StartUp Nagaland in partnership with the Department of Industries & Commerce, and the Educentre School of Business in 2021.
MonAram is a social impact initiative of SpeakGuru Foundation which is now available for download in Google Play Store and will soon be made available for iOS mobile operating system too. It will also be made available for other states.

 

After downloading the app, one can register with Rs. 500 as a member for a year. With only a registration fee of Rs. 500, immediate relief can be availed from empaneled healthcare facilities worth Rs 5,000 during vehicular or any other domestic-accident cases. It also covers the expenses for dental injuries up to Rs. 2000 and in case a registered member dies, the nominee is eligible to receive an amount of Rs. 50,000 as ex-gratia.

 

Lenjem Hospital is the only hospital in Mokokchung that has been empaneled with MonAram. Altogether, nine hospitals (including clinics) in the whole of Nagaland have been empaneled: Nikos Hospital and Research Centre (Dimapur), Fellowship Nursing Home (Dimapur), Metase Dental Clinic (Dimapur), Zion Hospital (Dimapur), Eden Medical Centre (Dimapur), Dental Care Clinic (Kohima), Lenjem Hospital (Mokokchung), Yisali Memorial Health Clinic (Wokha) and Y. Rochill Hospital (Zunheboto).
