The Naga Hoho has expressed deep sorrow at the demise of Late Eno Raitu Elu, who passed away on Friday evening, July 5, 2024, in Dimapur. His mortal remains were laid to rest in his native village in Peren District, Nagaland, on July 6, 2024. Eno Raitu Elu, a dedicated and dynamic Naga social worker and an esteemed leader from the Zeliang Naga community, served with distinction as a member of the Committee on Naga Political Affairs (CONPA) from 2015 to 2019. He also held the position of President of the Zeme Naga Council.
In a condolence message, the Naga Hoho lamented that with his passing, the Nagas have lost a true patriot, his community has lost an inspirational leader, and his family has lost a doting father and brother.
The Naga Hoho extended its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for his soul to rest in eternal peace.
