The Naga society, the churches, and the community are all suffering from a trust deficit that might have devastating effects, he said. Emphasizing on the need of “trust,” he went on to advise the youths to learn how to trust in the Lord first, which would make it possible to trust others stating that trust is crucial for creating bonds and enacting transformations within oneself and society.

He continued by urging the congregation to have a positive attitude, saying that without positivity one is doomed for failure in life. “We need to live life positively and erase negativity,” he said, asserting that one should overcome whatever challenges and difficulties they face in life with a positive attitude.

The speaker, quoting Matthew 7:5 from the bible, said that youths of today do not see their own flaws but instead focus on the flaws of others, which will drag them down. “Learn to appreciate others,” he said.
“To build our society we need to come together, trust in our God so that with love we are together and rebuild our society, learn from each other, grow stronger together,” he asserted.

During the devotional service on Sunday, Etssimongo Ngullie IPS, DIG Range/ NAP Mokokchung during a brief exhortation encouraged the youths to heed to their parents and guardians in order to succeed in life. He also noted that churches are crucial in shaping the youths.
