In a commendable effort to give back to the community, the Naga Students’ Union Bangalore (NSUB) successfully organized a blood donation drive in collaboration with Baptist Hospital. The initiative saw active participation not only from NSUB members but also from non-Naga individuals who came forward to donate blood for this noble cause, the NSUB said in a press release.

The NSUB said that the Bangalore Baptist Hospital holds a special place in the hearts of the Naga community in Bangalore. “Over the years, it has been a pillar of support, providing crucial medical assistance to many Naga brothers and sisters in need,” it said.

This blood donation drive further strengthened the longstanding relationship between NSUB and Baptist Hospital, paving the way for future collaborations in healthcare and community welfare initiatives.

The event also served as an educational platform, raising awareness about the urgent need for regular blood donations to save lives, particularly in emergency and critical care situations.

“Bangalore Baptist Hospital has been instrumental in offering medical care to many from our community, and this initiative was our way of giving back,” said Nungsangmongla Ozukum, President of NSUB. “We are deeply moved by the overwhelming response and the willingness of people beyond our community to contribute.”

Volunteers and donors alike shared their heartfelt experiences, with many expressing a sense of fulfillment in contributing to a lifesaving cause.

The NSUB extended its gratitude to all the donors, Bangalore Baptist Hospital, and the volunteers who made this drive a success.
