The Naga Students’ Union Mizoram held its 24th Freshers Meet-cum-Cultural Day on the theme, ‘Towards Identity and Empowerment’ at Art & Cultural Auditorium, Berawtlang on October 15 with MLA & Vice Chairman, Human Resource Development Board, Government of Mizoram, L Thangmawia as the special guest.
According to a press release, the Mizoram MLA while speaking at the event shared how the states of Nagaland and Mizoram as neighbouring states share a closely knitted and good relationship with each other.
A total of 49 freshers were welcomed while Atyule Tep, Optometry Department, RIPANS and Zubenthung M Kikon, Department of Masters in Library and Information Science, Mizoram University were declared Miss & Mr Freshers, 2022 respectively.
Pastor Benjamin, Naga Christian Fellowship, Mizoram prayed for the Freshers, the release stated.
