Kohima, March 18 (MTNews): Nagaland Archery Team will be participating at 41st NTPC Senior (Men &Women) National (Indian Round, Recurve and Compound) Archery Championship, Jammu (J &K) from 21st-28th March 2022. An update from the team manager Hunezo Thisa stated that 18 archers comprising of 7 women and 11 men will participate in this tournament in two categories.
For recurve (men) category are Kilenmeren, Keneisao Theunuo, Mathan Lotha and Teisovilohe. In recurve women are Rouvinuo Theunuo, Rovine Domeh, Kevikieno Rikha, Edikuno Rikha.
For compound men category are Ruyonutheluo, Thenuhielie Metha, Vehuyi Venuh. In compound women are Vetavolu Rhakho, Nikesa Sakhrie and Vetolu Nienu.
The team will be led by Hunezo Thisa, Jr State Archery Coach as manager and Chekrovolu Swuro, Olympian and Arjuna awardee as the Team Coach.
Meanwhile, the Nagaland Archery Association has extended gratitude to Nagaland DGP and police sports complex incharge for allowing the association to have coaching Camp at the complex and for all the assistance rendered during the camp.
The Association also expressed gratitude to G-Sports Dimapur for Sponsoring the T-shirts of the archers and officials. The Team Manager, Hunezo Thisa, expressed gratitude to Dr Neiphrezo Kiditsu, President, Nagaland Archery Association and his colleagues for all the support, encouragement, motivation, and assistance provided to the team players and officials throughout the coaching camp.
