Mokokchung, 26 May (MTNews): A local bamboo-based enterprise is poised to introduce its maiden product, Tir Mijang, an organic bamboo charcoal, on 30 May. The enterprise, Nagaland Bamboo Industry (NBI), is located approximately 15 kilometers from Changtongya on the Changtongya-Asangma PWD Road. The product launch event will take place at the NBI site.
K Temjen Jamir, the proprietor of Nagaland Bamboo Industry, informed that Mongkum Jamir, President of the Business Association of Nagas (BAN), has ‘kindly consented’ to inaugurate the industry and unveil the maiden product of the NBI.
Situated within the bamboo farming area, Nagaland Bamboo Industry operates under the geographical jurisdiction of Akhoya village, Mokokchung district.
