Mokokchung, 24 October (MTNews): In a move adhering to the party’s constitution, Benjamin Yeptho, the President of the BJP Nagaland State Unit, has announced the appointment of new office bearers across various categories. The newly elected office bearers will play crucial roles in the party’s administration and outreach efforts.
The appointments span a wide range of positions within the party structure, including State Vice Presidents, State General Secretaries, General Secretaries (ORG), State Secretaries, State Treasurer, Office Secretary, and heads of various Morchas dedicated to specific constituencies and interests.
The State Vice Presidents who have been appointed are as follows: Kropol Vitse (Kohima); Basu Damani (Dimapur); S Phangnon Konyak (Mon); Hurui Zeliang (Peren); Yankithung Yanthan (Wokha), and H Haiying (Noklak)
The State General Secretaries are: Sunep C Jamir (Mokokchung) and Manai Konyak (Mon). The role of General Secretaries (ORG) has been assumed by Abhay Giri. State Secretaries are:
Melandialiu (Tening); Easter Chang (Tuensang); Shilukaba Longhcar (Mokokchung); Vechita (Phek); Tafi Snock (Meluri) and Aliba Sangtam (Longkhim Chare).
Mahesh Kotecha, based in Dimapur, has been appointed as the State Treasurer. The Office Secretary position is held by P Kavili Achumi (Kohima).
The heads of various Morchas are: Mahila Morcha: Shanbeni (Chumoukedima); Yuva Morcha: Hinoka (Niuland); ST Morcha: Tsachola Sangtam (Kiphire); Kisan Morcha: Er Cheong Konyak (Mon); OBC Morcha: Prabakhar Yadav (Dimapur) and Minority Morcha: Ankit Jain (Dimapur).
